How The Boundless School is helping youth believe in themselves
The Boundless School is a place where youth who are marginalized and struggling with their mental health can feel like they belong. Located on a rural 600-acre property two hours west of Ottawa, The Boundless School offers a unique educational opportunity for youth living in low-income households. Launched in the 1980s to help children with mental health barriers get out of the city and into the wilderness, the organization is now a fully registered school using immersion into nature as a form of therapy. Students are selected to participate through various community partners, then allowed to complete their high school credits while attending their boarding school. TELUS Friendly Future Foundation has been a proud supporter of The Boundless School for many years.
