Lori McLeod joined the TELUS Vancouver Island Community Board in 2017, and served 3 years as a dedicated committee member before assuming the position of Board Chair in January 2021. Raised in Victoria, Lori is a well-known and highly regarded health advocate who has dedicated much of her life to supporting vulnerable communities and improving the quality of care for Islanders in need. 
Her longstanding commitment to supporting Vancouver Island’s aging population is exemplified by her innovative leadership supporting key organizations across BC, serving on the Board of Advisors for the Institute on Aging and Lifelong Health, advisory committee for the BC Seniors Strategy-Raising the Profile Project and as President of the Rotary Club of Oak Bay. As an influential voice for social change, Lori was recognized for her passionate community leadership in 2018 by Leadership Victoria.
