Martin Cousineau (Chair)
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lobe Clinic Network
In 2002, Martin Cousineau, President and CEO of the Lobe clinic network, not only founded a company, he created a business model that was one of a kind in the Quebec auditory health sector. For 15 years now, he has been at the head of Quebec’s largest network of multidisciplinary clinics for auditory health and communication, drawing on his extensive experience in the Canadian and U.S. markets, where he transformed a private business into a publicly traded company listed on the TSX and AMEX exchanges (Helix Hearing). His objective for the next few years is to triple the number of clinics in the network. He is also a great philanthropist and has served for several years as a member of the governance committee at the Fondation Sourdine, a hearing foundation that supports the École oraliste de Québec, an oral school for deaf and hearing-impaired children, where he is also a member of the board. Mr. Cousineau also works with the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce, where he shares his expertise with young entrepreneurs. His exceptional involvement with Université Laval will support the creation of an audiology department. This support has earned him a place among the prestigious Cent-Associés (the hundred associates) group at the Université Laval Foundation. Mr. Cousineau is passionate about entrepreneurship, organizational efficiency, business administration and, above all, the human race. He’s a businessman who’s overflowing with great ideas, and he likes to tell people that at Lobe, the one thing you can always count on. . . is change! ABOUT LOBE: Lobe clinics offer a unique approach that brings all the different auditory health and communication professionals together under one roof: ENT doctors, audiologists, hearing aid professionals, specialized educators, auditory health nurses and speech therapists. This approach gives patients quick access to top-quality auditory health services. The core concept of the Lobe clinic network can be summed up as: With just one call, we take care of it all.
